What began as a classic 19th-century guest house has evolved into an intimate destination that balances historic charm with thoughtful modern comfort. Guests settle into carefully appointed rooms featuring period-inspired décor, inviting furnishings. Outside, the porch invites lingering, perhaps over morning coffee or evening sunsets that paint the lake in soft gold and rose. About the RoseWood
The Innkeepers
Joseph and Susan Martin were married at the Rosewood October 2023. Joseph was raised in Madison NH and has worked as wedding photographer for 14 years having photographed over 300 weddings. He is creative and passionate about capturing beautiful moments. Before that Joseph worked in a restaurant for 22 years. He worked his way up from prep cook to assistant kitchen manager.
Susan worked in the service industry and managed a British pub before having children. She has worked at the Rosewood as a wedding server and fell in love with the property. Together they have 6 children and love raising them in Madison.
Their commitment to the Rosewood was an easy choice, not only for a family business, but a future that keeps them all close together.
